​Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA)

The Planning Officers from GBC and Sport England, and Zoe Franklin, are visiting the school on Monday 18th Nov to get a better idea of the area etc. Objections continue to come in from the small group of objectors.
Please note that planning approval is only one step. Thereafter the school needs to secure funding. A key aspect of that is the SCC Your Fund Surrey programme. To obtain that funding requires community support and that the project delivers for the community. The FLGCA has stated that it supports the school in order to achieve the funding and in principle the MUGA and benefits it brings to the school. Support for the planning application is based on that consultation with residents is ongoing and concerns addressed.
