Please read these booking instructions carefully before you hire the hall.

The main hall is available for hire at very competitive rates (see below).
There is ample car parking (at the owner's risk) and bar facilities are available if desired.
A kitchen is also provided for those who hire the main Hall.
A small meeting room is available for separate hire.
The main hall measures 18 metres long by 11 metres wide, min height 3.5m, apex 4.25m. and 200 seats can be accommodated.
Bouncy castles less than 3.2m high may be accommodated at the far end of the hall or just outside the end doors on the small triangle of land. We must advise you that we do not have insurance for Bouncy Castles and Inflatable devices.
We need to see and retain proof of valid insurance from the hirer of the equipment.
We also need to ensure that any relevant conditions of the hirer's/provider's insurance are adhered to.
So this means, assuming you are the hirer, that you need to have your own insurance and adhere to any conditions that might come with that and we need to have proof that is the case.
This should be common knowledge to the equipment provider and it may be that you have already arranged but we do need to see that proof.
It may be that you have hired with inclusion of insurance and supervision by the supplier which would be ideal, if not then we could be in a troubling position.
Without meeting the above conditions then I am afraid we cannot allow Bouncy Castles and Inflatable devices on FLGCA premises, either inside or outside.
If the main hall is too big for your requirements it can still be sub-divided into two smaller rooms using the dividers.

How to book:

The Main Hall

This can be hired for a whole day and evening (9:00 to 23:45).

Otherwise, it can be hired per hour 9:00 to 19:00 weekday or at the weekend.

Please note that the earliest time you can enter the hall is 9.00 in the morning, if an earlier start is required there is a surcharge applied.

Hire in the evening is for the whole evening session (19:00 to 23:45)

Use of the kitchen is provided free of charge.

A bar will cost £35 and there is no additional hourly charge as long as it is required within the hours of 19:30 to 23:00. Outside these times there is a setup surcharge of £15 plus an additional charge of £15 per hour to cover staffing.

Now check on the schedule above to see if the hall is available for hire. Note that if you require a bar, the meeting room must also be free. There is no charge for the meeting room under these circumstances.

Click on the + for the day you wish to book, register as a new customer if you do not have a login, and make the booking. We will get back and confirm or otherwise within 24 hours.

Meeting Room / Carpeted Lounge

The meeting Room can be hired by the hour. The meeting room is offered for free when the bar is booked.

Now click on the schedule above to see if the meeting room is free (If the bar has been booked out for main hall use then the meeting room cannot be hired out separately).

Click on the + for the day you wish to book, register as a new customer if you do not have a login, and make the booking. We will get back to within 24 hours.

Decide if you want the main hall or the meeting room.

For the purposes of booking weekdays are defined as Sunday to Thursday and weekend is Friday from 6pm and all of Saturday.

All bookings need to be booked more than a week in advance.

All bookings require a refundable deposit of £150.

Do include your set-up & clear-down time within your booking period.

There is a 10 minute buffer before and after your booking, but this is to allow us to get the hall ready and does not form part of your booking period. All music must finish by 23:45 and the premises vacated by midnight in consideration for our neighbours.

If you require the bar please tick the box during booking. Alcoholic liquor cannot be brought in for sale or consumption (other than toasting wines or sherry). For consumption of alcohol please hire the fully stocked and manned bar. Please do not bring your own, doing so will incur loss of your deposit.

We regret we cannot hire the hall for parties for children and young adults aged 14 to 20 inclusive or for Stag/Hen Parties. We reserve the right to cancel any such bookings made.

Extra chairs & tables are in the store cupboard and can be used, but please return them to the cupboard neatly after use.

We have a wonderful community hall, it should be found and left as shown with all tables put away, and chairs in rows around the walls.

Currently we do not hire out the field due to clashes with fixtures for the resident football and cricket teams.
