The FLGCA provides a centre for community activities, a community hall and keeps the recreation field in good order. As usual with such associations a small band of volunteers give up a great deal of their spare time to ensure smooth running and that faciliities are kept in good order. The association has also engaged directly with local councils on matters such as flooding, illegal parking , dog fouling and the clearing of hedges.

The association operates as a not-for-profit organisation with charity status, but it needs your support - come down and join the club, use the facilities and enjoy yourself.
